Mandie accepts a limited number of commissions each year, working with collectors, interior designers, architects, and businesses to create original paintings shaped by the rooms they will live in.
Every commission starts with a conversation about the light, the scale, the architecture, and the feeling you want the space to hold. From there, Mandie develops an original composition in her own vocabulary of color and movement, a painting that belongs to its setting while remaining unmistakably hers.
Whether it is for a private home, an office, a hospitality project, or a public space, each commission is a one-of-a-kind work.
The Commission Process
1. Initial Consultation
Share your vision, the space, preferred dimensions, timeline, and any sources of inspiration. Photographs of the room, architectural drawings, or design renderings are welcome and help Mandie understand the character of the environment.
2. Concept Development
Mandie defines the direction of the painting, including palette, scale, and energy, based on your space and aesthetic goals.
3. Creation
The painting is made in Mandie’s Monterey, California studio, built up through her layered, intuitive process.
4. Delivery
Once complete, the work is professionally crated and shipped anywhere in the world. Studio pickup is also available.
