Collected Days
Mixed media on canvas
36" x 12"
Days pile up in this tall, layered collage like keepsakes tucked into an old box. At the top, a vintage camera rests on a ground of hot pink and lemon yellow; below it, panels of black lace and printed ticket like strips crowd together, crossed by a deep ribbon of gathered black fabric. Glossy, crinkled clear layers, bubbled and stretched like plastic wrap, drape over everything like frost, and near the bottom tiny yellow cassette tapes float on a soft gray field. Mandie layered found images, fabric and shimmering material, letting each piece find its place without a plan. It is playful, nostalgic and full of life, a scrapbook of everything worth remembering.
Full of keepsake charm, this tall collage belongs where stories are told: a hallway lined with family photos, a creative studio, or beside a bookcase stacked with travel journals. Black frames, vintage finds and a velvet chair in deep berry will answer its playful pinks and lace.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
