Deep Love
Mixed media on panel
24" x 6"
A deep, generous field of royal blue fills most of this tall panel, rich and saturated, with small openings of white where the pour thinned. Beside it, a bright thread of lime and gold runs the full length, then a line of tangerine, then a ribbon of scarlet that swells and pools toward the bottom. The red is glossy and bubbled, almost alive, and leans close to the blue as if wanting to be near. Mandie poured these colors in long vertical runs and let them settle shoulder to shoulder. There is devotion in the way they hold together, steady and warm, a love that runs deep and does not waver.
Rich royal blue makes this a stunning choice for a bedroom, a dressing room or a slim wall beside a tall mirror. It looks luxurious with deep blue velvet, gold accents and warm brass lighting, and makes a heartfelt anniversary gift.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
