Echoes of You
Mixed media and resin on panel
20" x 20"
A square of raw cloth sits slightly askew on the panel, its frayed edges softly visible, washed in sky blue and pale sand. Across it run rows of hand-placed dots in navy, slate and bronze, some tidy, some wavering, like footprints along a shore or a message tapped out gently. Flecks of gold leaf catch the light here and there, and brushed bands of blue drift between the lines like passing weather. A clear layer of resin seals it all beneath a glassy shine, deepening the weave and the color. Mandie layered fabric, paint and gilding and let each element speak to the next. It feels like a fond memory returning, familiar, warm and quietly lasting.
Textural and intimate, Echoes of You brings handmade warmth to a bedroom, a guest room, or a cozy hallway. Sand toned walls, woven textiles, navy accents, and a ceramic lamp complement its stitched rhythm and soft sky blue.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
