Glory
Mixed media on panel
24" x 24" x 2.5"
A bright cascade sweeps diagonally through the panel, orange droplets and pink pours splashing outward on the left, a column of thick golden yellow rising through the middle, and a burst of glossy white light breaking through as if a sun has torn open the sky. To the right, the colors deepen through ruby and violet to a dark navy, peppered with fine golden spray like stars appearing at nightfall. Mandie poured and flung the paint, letting it marble, splash and pool where it wished, then misted the edges into atmosphere. The panel sits deep off the wall, giving the work real presence. It radiates celebration, light and an overflowing sense of praise.
Bright and celebratory, Glory brings instant warmth to a dining nook, an entry, or a sunny living room corner. Its deep cradled profile looks handsome unframed, and terracotta, coral, and gold accents carry its cascade of color into the room.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
