Across a soft gray ground, a cross of pale lemon and deeper marigold spreads its arms wide, poured in thick, glossy streams that splash and scatter where they meet. Each corner holds its own small world: a swirl of cobalt, green and rainbow hues at the upper left, a sunlit square of yellow and blue at the upper right, a rough, earthy field of pink and teal below, and a deep navy pool flecked with gold in the last corner. The textures range from crackled and gritty to smooth and luminous. Mandie gathered these smaller fields and then let the bright pour connect them, spark to spark. It feels like a flame catching, warm, hopeful and gently radiant.
Warm and balanced, its golden cross on soft gray makes a strong focal point in a dining room, an office or a living room. Gray upholstery, marigold accents and walnut furniture share its palette, while a ceiling spotlight brings out its glossy pours.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
