Mixed media on panel
24" x 6"
A broad column of bright lime green runs the length of this panel, its surface textured and speckled with small dark flecks, like a vine or a green artery carrying life from top to bottom. On the left, deep oxblood melts into scarlet in long, branching drips; on the right, a line of black breaks into beads and dashes. Small drops of yellow appear here and there like flecks of pollen. Mandie poured the central green thick and let the darker colors run freely on either side, unsure until the end how they would meet. It feels like something to hold onto, vivid and alive, steady through whatever flows around it.
Bright lime and deep oxblood make this a confident choice for a modern kitchen, a home gym or a narrow hallway. It looks fresh against pale gray or chalky walls and pairs well with stainless steel, green plants and concrete or terrazzo surfaces.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
