Love Remembered
Mixed media on panel
36" x 36"
Warm pink fills the canvas like a soft blush, holding a cloud of coral at its center and a sweep of mustard gold across the top. In the lower right, a deep cobalt rises from the edge, and through it runs a delicate trail of lime green, dripping and looping like a thread of memory. On the left, a turquoise swirl is wrapped in fine golden lines that circle it like strands of hair or a remembered embrace, cradled above a sliver of bright yellow. Along the bottom, colorful drips and a splash of black and blue bring the painting back to earth. Mandie sprayed, poured and drew with a free hand, trusting the moment. It is tender and bittersweet, full of warmth that lingers long after.
Generous in scale and feeling, this painting can anchor a living room above the sofa or bring tenderness to a large bedroom wall. Blush, cream, and soft terracotta textiles, with a hint of cobalt in a vase or cushion, gather the room around it.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
