New Earth
Mixed media on panel
16" x 16"
Over a calm sea of teal, a new land is taking shape. Violet and cobalt flow at its northern edge, giving way to a ridge of lime and chartreuse whose surface breaks into tiny cells like moss or coral. Lower down, peach and tangerine soften into a broad, warm plain before deepening into crimson and a shadow of plum. The glossy pour holds every ripple of its own movement, edges curling where the paint chose to rest. Mandie poured and tilted the panel, watching the colors find their shoreline without her steering. It feels hopeful and fresh, like the first map of a place still waiting to be explored.
Does your home office need a window onto somewhere new? New Earth suits a study or a sunny hallway, among teal and chartreuse accents, an old map or globe, and a healthy fiddle leaf fig that echoes its fresh, unfolding land.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
