Mixed media on metal panel
14" x 11"
A single golden wing opens across the panel, its veins drawn in raised lines of pale paint, the spaces between them filled with glossy yellow and tangerine. Beside it, a curved arc of sky blue bends like an embrace, and along the far left edge, a marbled ribbon of teal, lemon and deep blue swirls and frays into lacy drops. A soft mist of yellow spray fills the air around the wing, speckled with fine dots. Mandie poured and sprayed over the sleek metal surface, letting the paint flow and gather into forms she discovered as she worked. The painting feels open handed and generous, a small gift held out with grace.
Small and luminous, Offering is made for close looking: on a desk, a bedside table, or a bookshelf where morning light can find its glossy gold. Set it near a ceramic vase or a stack of favorite books and it becomes a little daily ritual.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
