Plenty
Mixed media on canvas
14" x 11"
Three bands of color stand shoulder to shoulder like rows in a late harvest field: golden marigold on the left, a rich olive in the middle and a cool, deep blue on the right, with a flash of lime glowing at the lower corner. They soak into the canvas and bleed gently into one another, with fine dark lines and soft ripples marking where one wave of paint met the next. The whole form floats on a ground of open white, its edges ragged and alive. Mandie poured each color and let it stain and spread at its own pace, accepting each soft border as it came. It feels generous and grounded, a quiet gratitude for having enough.
Harvest colors make this a natural fit for a kitchen, a dining room or a pantry with open shelves. Marigold, olive and deep blue feel inviting with warm terracotta, butcher block counters, stoneware and a bowl of seasonal fruit.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
