Rainbow Promise
Mixed media on panel
24" x 12"
Red stands at the center like a heartbeat, and the colors gather around it in perfect balance. To each side, orange, yellow, green and blue fall in matching pairs, so the panel reads like a reflection, an arch of color unfolded flat. The streams are thick and glossy, swelling and pinching as they drop, each ending in a soft, rounded tip, while a few tiny blue droplets settle beneath them. At the top, the colors brush and blend where they began together. Mandie poured them from a single point and let them part, each finding its own path to the bottom. The piece glows with quiet assurance, a bright sign that good things are still on their way.
Balanced and joyful, it brings cheerful color to a child's room, a playroom or a bright hallway. Its symmetrical rainbow looks fresh on pale walls, with light wood, colorful ceramics and playful textiles echoing its optimistic, sunny spirit all year round.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
