Steadfast
Mixed media on canvas
48" x 48"
Two wide bands of teal meet at the center of the canvas, and across them runs a bold pour of cream, splashing outward in loops and long trailing lines. Around this calm structure sit four windows, each its own small world: lilac paint combed into soft ridges, a rainbow beam slanting toward a yellow sun, a curtain of green, red and gold drips, and a deep slate field shadowed with mist. Mandie poured the cream in one sweeping gesture and let it land where it would, spattering beyond the edges. The center holds firm while every corner tells a different story, a quiet strength steady through every season, touched with grace.
With real presence, Steadfast can hold a wall of its own in a living room, a double height entry, or a long dining room. Cream upholstery, warm stone, and deep teal accents echo its calm, confident center and ground the whole space.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
