Mixed media on panel
11" x 14"
A burst of neon yellow lands on the panel like a hand slapped down in delight, its fingers dragging into long, bright streaks across the surface. Inside the splash, turquoise and green glimmer beneath the yellow. Around it, the ground is a deep brick red, combed and scraped into ridges and a small woven grid, with flashes of blue and gold peeking through. On the left, a spray of sky blue dots scatters like confetti. Mandie threw, dragged and scraped with fearless gestures, letting the energy of each movement stay visible. The painting feels like a shout of freedom, wild, bright and unapologetically bold.
Fearless and full of energy, it is perfect for a creative space, a gym corner or a modern living room. The neon yellow and brick red pop against concrete gray or deep terracotta walls, and they look great with black steel and bold graphic textiles.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
