Between two bright lines of neon yellow, a tangle of black spreads across the pale ground like words written in a hurry and never sent. The marks loop, stall, break into droplets and start again, crowding together toward the right. Rust orange bars and patches of crimson hover above and below, warm and insistent, with a single bold red shape resting alone in the lower half. The ground behind is softly mottled with cool gray-blue spray. Mandie dripped and poured the dark lines freely, letting her hand move faster than thought. It holds everything a person feels but cannot say aloud, kept safe between those two glowing borders.
Edgy and expressive, this piece brings energy to a creative studio, a modern home office or an urban apartment hallway. The neon yellow and black look sharp with concrete, black steel and pale walls, and a pop of rust ties it to leather or terracotta.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
