Mixed media on panel
30" x 30" x 2.5"
Soft blocks of lemon, chartreuse and cream glow like sunlight on a lazy afternoon, their edges melting into long drips that run gently down the panel. Floating across this warm field, two poured shapes reach toward each other, each a cup of golden yellow holding a bloom of magenta and tangerine. A thin thread of deep violet links them, curling like smoke or a conversation that takes its time. The paint sits glossy and full, pooling in places and trailing off in fine lines where it slipped away. Mandie let the colors flow and meet on their own, and they found each other with real tenderness. It feels like a day with nowhere to be, easy, warm and gently connected.
Living with this canvas feels like a long, golden weekend. It brightens a kitchen or a sunny breakfast nook, and brings warmth to a guest room with cream walls. Add wicker, butter yellow ceramics and a stack of well-loved cookbooks for an easy, sunlit mood.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
