Warm Embrace
Mixed media on panel
24" x 24"
Two warm bands of color reach toward each other across a creamy field, tomato red from below and raspberry pink from above, and cradled between them lies a soft, rounded form of sky blue and rose. Its marbled skin ripples with raised ridges and curling ribbons, edged in teal and a whisper of chartreuse, like a sleeping figure wrapped in a quilt. The sprayed reds glow at their edges, hazy and tender. Mandie poured and pulled the central shape, then framed it in warmth with quick, loose passes of spray. It feels like being held by someone who loves you, and the deep safety that comes with it.
Above a bed, in a dining nook, or in a cozy living room corner, Warm Embrace adds a sense of closeness. Raspberry and tomato red textiles, creamy walls, and warm wood bring out its tender, rounded heart and make the room feel lived in and loved.

The Collections
Pigment breaks loose across the surface, feathered forms climbing through bands of color, caught in the instant before they open all the way.
Paint falls in continuous vertical streams, layer over layer, color caught mid-descent before it ever reaches the ground.
At the edge of the visible world, resin, pigment powders, and luminous forms suggest planetary landscapes no one has named yet.
Immediate, unguarded and alive. Color erupts, gestures cut across fields of pattern, painting as a way of releasing what words cannot hold.
Burlap, plaster, and mixed media hold the memory of surfaces worn by time, artifacts of a history that was never written down.
Pigment flows in channels across white ground, color finding its own path the way water finds a bed to run through.
Pigment pools and cracks across the surface, veined like a lakebed or a membrane, ground still settling into its shape.
